I've just been browsing the web and listening to music on my iTunes and iTunes crashes immediately after it plays one song. When I reopen it, it will play one more, crash, and on the third time crashes as soon as I open it!

This is what the error message reads:

The application iTunes has quit unexpectedly.

Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

I've downloaded OS 10.4.7 and have restarted my computer but it still continues to crash. What should I try next?

Thanks! iTunes is my only stereo

Maybe try removing the preference file. This means finding a file named com.apple.iTunes.plist in the Preferences folder and dragging it to the Desktop. :)

Hi.
I just downloaded the new iTunes update, and waddayaknow, it crashed after a few songs. I tried opening it again, and now it's just hanging open, in the dock, but hasn't loaded anything, not even the menu bar!
It won't even force quit.
I'm about to restart, but it's not looking good for iTunes' newest update!
:(
