I searched for it; couldn't find anything, so...

Is there any way for me to store my iTunes library, and all my songs and movies, on my external HDD so that I can autosync my 5G iPod, instead of having to manually manage, since I can't fit all my movies on my 20GB iBook hard drive?

It's an 80GB USB 2.0 external HDD from CompUSA; I'd be using USB 1.1 though...

Any ideas?

It's pretty easy to do, but USB 1.1 is going to take a LONG time to move things back and forth.
You go to iTunes ->pref's -> Advanced -> General -> iTunes Music folder location.
Select your new empty Music folder in your external drive and hit return. Then you got to Advanced in the menu bar and select Consolidate Library. I don't know how to do the movie stuff though, as I don't have one of the new iPods (yet;) ). As I said, it's going to take a long time so plug everything in and plan on just leaving it for a while.
I would plan on backing up to CD/DVD before doing anything scary to your library though. AFAIK, this doesn't delete the original copies, so if you need to free up space, you'll have to delete the contents of the iTunes music folder once you're sure everything has been copied to your external drive.
You can find some useful info in iTunes help by searching for things like 'external' and 'library'.
cheers.
