Anyone else getting this error when Apple tries to deliver your iTunes Match results?

Yes. It's driving me crazy. I cannot get anything to work.
1. Restart MacBook Pro
2. Reauthorize iTunes
3. Check and verified iTunes account primary email address
4. Turned iTunes Match on and off....

Nothing. Still the 4001 error.

I'm getting the same error. Has anything popped up on the support forums about this?

Got the same error here on both my Macbook and Mac mini. Cant get iTunes Match to make it through the startup phase. I've been using iTunes Match through the beta release and didnt have any problems.

The odd thing is that when I turn on iTunes Match on the iPhone, my music library gets filled with all the music Ive purchased on the iTunes store. Even though it never successfully completes the matching and uploading steps in my iTunes library on my Mac, purchased songs feel and work just like iTunes Match is fully active. It's only lacking the songs that physically need to be uploaded.

Delete your iTunes library (not the actual files) and reimport them into iTunes. It worked for me after trying for days doing what you have tried.

Hope this helps

Edit: And yes I started with the first beta and did not have the problem until beta 3.

That's super janky. Will take a massive amount of time with my Library. We'll see.

Fix

Two fixes I've found:

- In iTunes open the 'Store' menu bar item
- Hold down the 'Option' key and click 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
- Now reopen the 'Store' menu bar item and normal click 'Turn On iTunes Match'

You're set!

OORRR

I came from the other thread of the same issue. Just I wanted to post the other way resolved the issue, for some reason, for me. I did these:

1. Press Command-J > Check iCloud Status checkbox.
2. Select one song in 'Music' > Right click the song > Click "Add to iCloud"

And it started the first step in the Match. And it went through the step 2 without the error! The process is now in the step 3, uploading songs. Weird, but this was the way the issue was resolved in my case.

Good Luck!

Off Topic:

Do the songs that iTunes can't match, so are uploaded, count towards your 5GB storage in iCloud?
Also, is there anyway to delete multiple "Uploaded" songs at once, rather than having to delete them one by one?

I'm considering getting Match, just need to get my facts right before i go.

Thanks.
