The whole missing artwork on my music in the cloud is really starting to bug me.
Since I don't use iTunes match, this is only guesswork on my part, but is the missing album artwork embedded in the music files or was it artwork gathered by "Get Album Artwork" in iTunes.

I'm suspecting that it's the artwork that was gathered by iTunes and if my guess is correct, you're going to have to take the time to embed the artwork in each album.

Thanks for that, i will give it a try, how do i embed the artwork in each album

To embed the artwork into each album, I believe you can do this in Get Info. Highlight the songs on the album, then click File-Get Info. A box will pop up and you can scroll through each song and change things like change or paste in artwork, change the artist's name (useful sometimes when artists names are spelled wrong, or more than one way), change album names, put albums together as part of compilations, change genre's, etc. I do this all the time. I especially hate it when songs are credited to Artist, Featuring Some Other Artist. I delete the second half so that they all appear together under the one Artist.

Hope that helps.

Thank you, that is how i do it now. I was thinking that "embeding" was a different process.
