iTunes Match but not 256k

I got iTunes match to match the songs but when i delete the song to redownload the match song it shows bitrate at a lower rate. any fix on this?

Is it definitely a matched song and not one which was uploaded? Right click on the columns in iTunes and toggle on iTunes match status and it will tell you whether it is matched or just uploaded.

Uploaded tracks will be the same nitrate as was uploaded.

I just did a match and all of my tracks were 256k. Are you deleting the track and moving it to trash?

I noticed the same thing. They may have been uploaded songs, but I'm surprised they needed to be. For example, Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" should be in the iTunes catalog.
