Hi,

After the wipe I'm not able to sync my library to iTunes Match. It gets terminated just before completing Step 1 and gives an error: "An unknown error has occurred (4100)"

Has anyone else encountered this? Can't find any solutions after googling and getting pretty frustrated.

Cheers!

This Appears To Be

A developer issue, just logged in to the Apple support site and did a search there.....error 4100 is an app developer issue.

I'm nor one, so I can't access that part of the site.

Sorry I can't help....as you say, not a lot of info out there.

Same issue here.
I did some search and found something interesting on the appstudio.org website (in Russian):
The direct confirmation of the approaching release of the new iTunes beta is error 4100, presenting itself in case iTunes Match detects that installed iTunes version is too old.
Despite the fact that this is the only occurrence of error 4100 definition I was able to find, some other hints suggest that appstudio is right - there were similar cases in august and back then people were able to eliminate this issue by updating iTunes.

Developer forums would be a better place to post this, since you do have access to the NDA section of it if you have Match...

That being said, the last time 4100 popped up was when they released iTunes 10.5 beta 8. So expect beta 9 sometime soon. For now, everyone has been getting 4100 since the iTunes Match reset yesterday.
