Wait until it is done with the entire process. My library originally showed it was uploading over 10k tracks but in the end it was only about 1k. I think it is just uploading album artwork or meta data for some tracks.

I am at 95%. The unmatched 5% is appears to be due to purchases with an Apple Id prior to my MobileMe id. This last upload was the fastest. My Lossless songs took the longest to upload. Pleased with the results except for the Apple Id issue.

Same here. I was told it was uploading 4172 tracks. In reality, after all done, using a smart playlist it only uploaded 952 tracks! :D

I think all that other stuff is artwork/metadata.

Were all those actually uploaded? Or did iTunes say it was uploading those but in the end actually uploaded fewer?

Out of my 5592 songs, it's matched 4556, with 848 still "Waiting". That's 81%. Not bad at all. Only 19 uploaded, 24 ineligible (many of these are voice recordings at 64k, which I wouldn't have wanted it to upload anyways), and 144 were purchased from iTunes.

Interesting... it's only showing about half of those as "Uploaded" in iTunes. Those numbers are based on what the 3 step process was telling me. I also have 354 "Purchased" songs.

Yeah, I think to make metadata and album art available to all your devices, iTunes uploads that. I think they are counting that as items in Step 3.....I went quite I while uploading showing art getting uploaded.

You figure they are probably only uploading art once for each album.

Here are my stats:

Code:
Total Tracks 2860
Matched 2394
Uploaded 466
Not Eligible 6
Duplicates 2*
Errors 2

* - They aren't actually duplicates but iTunes thinks they are

Percentages
-----------------
Matched 83%
Uploaded 16%
Not Eligible <1%
Dupes/Errors <1%

Honestly I would say that iTunes Match is way better than I could have imagined. With only a 16% upload rate for me, all of which was lossless files that are (hopefully) converted to AAC before uploading to iTunes Match.

The dupes, errors, non-eligibles are annoying, but thankfully the tracks it says are bad are not anything important. In fact a couple of them are "blank" bonus tracks with nothing by dead air, which I can understand why it doesn't identify them.

The biggest problem I have encountered is that some of the album artwork is missing when viewed on my iPad or iPhone, and I can't seem to get it to re-upload.

Since this is a poll question, can you please add an actual poll to your post? Or if you want me to do it for you, please let me know. :)
I didn't intend to, was really just polling in the vein of putting a question out there to random users.

However; since you're a mod, I'll humor you =)

Haven't figured that out either. The albums HAVE art....it's just not showing up on iPad.

So apparently the initial scan was incorrect, and over 9000 matched.

I had 16 Ineligibles and Errors. Encoding quirks reporting 32kbps and corruption. Those have been re-encoded and repaired now. I don't fault iTunes on these, it actually found legitimate broken files for me. ++

A bunch of purchased, don't count those either.

Matched: 9732
Unmatched and Uploaded: 3358
Duplicates (dunno if matched or unmatched): 37
74.3% Matched, I'm less unimpressed.

What do you guys do about duplicates, these are due to compilations, soundtracks and greatest hit type albums. I want to keep records of all albums in place, but it doesn't want to track the duplicates in iCloud.

At work computer now, checked my iTunes. Yes for those albums, the track doesn't appear to both albums =( Broken albums.

Also makes this system as a good backup a little less useful.

Poll needs an option for "nothing matched, gets stuck before it gets to that point".

Played around with it this evening, mysteriously, all my duplicates are now either matched or uploaded after just simply redoing them.

WOW. I wonder if they tweaked an algorithm or what, but yay, 100% matched or uploaded now.
