i am curious if anyone has ran into the same problem i have with iTunes Match. I went through the whole process of uploading my library to the "cloud" i then went over to my iPhone 4 and went the music and played a few songs, they seem to work as usual. but i ended up running into one MAJOR problem. I clicked on a song that i normally listen to and it ended up playing another song that i don't even have in my library some "sax man" song when it should of been playing "9am in dallas".

after going through my library some more i came across this a few more times, i would click on a song and all of sudden it would "stream" a different song than i picked... usually the same "sax man" song.

has anyone ran into this issue? i know it is a beta, but any fixes?

it also seemed to change my iTunes library on my mac. the same "9am in dallas" song would play the stupid "sax man" song.

Granted, I haven't listened to a ton my my "cloud" library yet, but so far I haven't had any issues like that. What I have noticed is that files that match the metadata exactly from the iTunes Store, and are of obviously lower quality (192kbps mp3) aren't getting matched. Instead, I attempt to redownload them and instead of the 256k AAC, I get my same 192k mp3 back from the cloud. Even stranger, I have albums where half the songs will download as matched AAC's, and the other half will download as the old, lower quality file.

Yeah, i have came across that also. I know this is a beta, i just hope they put a little more work into this Match thing. it has major potential.

Agreed, this thing is amazing even with the current issues. If the few playback errors on iOS get fixed, and the matching is done better or allows for some level of user feedback or interaction, it's going to be a game changer for how I use my iPhone; I suddenly have 9 extra gigs to actually store video on the thing!

Another strange issue I've noticed, wondering if anyone else has. I have a specific album that none of the songs will download onto my iOS device, but they download just fine on a Mac. I can get it to stream, even on the newest betas that "don't stream," but the iPod app on my iPhone spits out an error saying the song couldn't be downloaded and lets me say "done" or "retry."

I'm having the same issue with the retail version. Anyone still having this problem?
