iTunes Match shows old artwork

So I downloaded a song a while ago and it had awful quality artwork which I immediately replaced with the artwork from the iTunes store. The song was matched fine and I deleted it and redownloaded the iTunes quality version, but on my iPhone it shows the old poor quality artwork. Does anyone else have this issue?

Delete it from the phone and re-download it.

Already tried. When I delete it it just shows the iCloud icon with the same artwork.
