iTunes Match, sort by artist songs missing

So, iTunes Match finally finished syncing.

On both my iPhone and iPad on iOS 6, if I sort by artist not all of the songs show up. If I sort by song name or anything else all songs show up.

For instance a song by Pink doesn't show up if I sort by artist, but if I sort by song title it is there.

I have turned match on and off on both devices, and forced an update from iTunes.

Any ideas?

I turned OFF "group by album artist" under settings>music.

I just got a sub to iTunes Match and I'm having the same problem.

For example, on my iPhone 4, if I look at artists under "M", only three show up, but I've got at least five others that should be there. But if I browse songs, all the songs by those artists that don't display in the artist list are there, all in problem albums, etc.

"Group by Album Artist" is set to off.

Any clues? It's annoying as hell.

So... nobody? This is just an iTunes Match bug that can't be fixed. Damn annoying.
