My wife has decided to retire and sell her barely used MacBook Air and only use her iPad Pro. She has music that she purchased back when she was still using Android. She does not want to lose this music and would prefer to store it with the music that she has purchased from iTunes so it will be able to sync with new devices when we upgrade. This is fine when she had a Mac to sync her iPhone and iPad with, but when she gets rid of the MacBook Air, she will no longer have this.

What can she do to keep her pre-iTunes purchased music in the cloud so it will sync with her iTunes purchased music? Will iTunes Match let her upload all of her music and store it for her? We’re hoping that someone has already figured this out and would be kind enough to let us know what can be done to keep her music in sync.

Thanks.

While iTunes Match does exactly what you want, it unfortunately only works in iTunes on a Mac or Windows. (Any music matched is then available on iOS devices too, however the original matching process can only be done in iTunes.)
