Anyone else having this issue? I periodically buy music from iTunes stores in other countries. When I move that music into the iTunes library with Match enabled (different iTunes account), it doesn't ever sync. If I use the 'Create AAC' feature to duplicate the tracks, those will then sync fine. Does iTunes compare the purchase info inside tracks with the active iTunes account, or something like that, as some kind of privacy prevention method?

when u purchase/download any purchases your email is attached to the purchase... so i guess when creating AAC wipes that out which is why it would sync from another account.

Match is tired to Apple ID..

Interesting. Theoretically Apple should not be concerning themselves with the purchase info of a track for iTunes Match, so I would expect it to work. Glad to know it works for you. I've had this issue with two different albums recently. I let both process for a good hour with nothing showing on other devices. Did the AAC conversion and songs were Matched within minutes.

It should and does match any song bought from other IDs. I have about 3,000 songs that were bought on my original ID which Apple locked around 2009 or so and prevented me from ever buying or downloading anything from that account again.

I have had all of that music matched in iTunes Match on my current account with no problems.

Lately though, I have not had a lot of luck with iTunes Match matching complete albums that I have downloaded elsewhere. There seems to be a handful of songs that get uploaded even though iTunes has the complete album.

I also have about 200 music videos that were purchased under that original account and even though iTunes music videos are DRM free, they never get matched or uploaded but I kind of expect that since they are videos.
