so i subscribed to iTunes match not too long ago and i'm running the apple music trial, all is mostly ok.

but today i started adding some more albums to my iTunes library and i noticed something different -

instead of songs either "Matched" or "Uploaded" there is now a "Apple Music" upload. whats the difference between Apple Music and Matched? if its on Apple Music is it not on the iTunes Store?? i don't want my songs matched with apple music as it will be DRM'd..

with Apple music the matched songs will be DRM if redownloading or download on another computer. It should not alter the originals on your computer unless you remove file and redownload. Just make sure you have backup of originals and don't worry about it. If you upload songs not found in Apple music they will show as uploaded and redownloading those will be DRM free.

Something over-arching to keep in mind here. "Apple Music" and "iTunes Store" are different things.
