Hi All,

I bought an Apple Time Capsule 1TB a few month back and it works brilliant as a computer server for music, photos, videos and the printer, but it doesnt allow me to share the music and videos with an apple tv or xbox360. Id like somthing that is basically what i have setup but with the ability to stream from it.

i have it set up like the following

Broadband Modem
|
Time Capsule - Printer
|
iMac, PC's & iPhones

I have the iMac attached via ethernet for the Gigabit ethernet, and of course the modem via ethernet, the printer is attached via USB and the rest are wireless.

I need somthing like that is a timecapsule but is DLNA complient.

Cant anyone help with options?

Thanks in advance :)

Well im thinking of getting a

Noontec N5 NAS and fitting a 2TB Western Digital Caviar Green HDD

This will plug into my Sky WiFi Broadband Router but wont allow me to use my printer via WiFi, however im looking for a new ethernet/ WiFi printer anyways.

This will work out at about £150 and hopefully i can sell my Time Capsule for around that!

anyone knwo of anything like the Noontec N5 that is any better?

If you jailbreak your ATV2 you can stream media from just about anywhere, including the Time Capsule.

Check out www.firecore.com

They sell the ATV Flash software as well as the free Seas0nPass jailbreak.

Ooo that could be worth looking at, but I have the Xbox, do you know of there's anything like that available for that?
