Silly question but is there a way in MacOS to watch the downloaded movie in the QuickTime player rather than the TV app. The file is blanked out when I try to open it via QuickTime

Any thoughts?

Locate the movie file in finder or right click on the movie in iTunes and click show in finder and then right click the movie and choose open in QuickTime.

I suspect not, because of DRM.

I will give it a try. In finder it is blanked out but didn’t try a right click. I also went to QuickTime app and located the file there. Again it was blanked out.

Likely a DRM issue then.

DRM is in the app, not the system. Otherwise, movies could not be played on Windows.
