I'm running a G5 1.6. Up to now no problems but iTunes is acting up. I've set my preferences to automatically start playing when an audio CD is installed but it is not working. If I insert a CD after iTunes is running I have to shut it down and start iTunes again and then the CD shows. I've updated to the latest iTunes with the updater. The only thing I've done is delete my old playlists and library as I hadn't set it up to import as MP3's. I also downloaded "Clutter" and it seems to work as it shows the album cover but the popup showing what song is playing isn't working. Bout to trash it b4 I install Panther. Any help would be appreciated. Thks.

in your system preferences what do you have it doing when you insert a music cd?

Got it set so that when a music CD is inserted it plays automatically. Funny thing but iTunes is now working. I slap in a audio CD and it plays, the cd shows on the desktop and also in iTunes. Very curious why it had that short lived glitch. All is well with the world at the moment. Will be downloading "Fetch" soon. Also am about to install Panther....probably tomorrow. Still downloading CDs. iTunes is really neat and I haven't even scratched the surface yet I'm sure. Thanks for the help. Sure that I'll need more down the road.
