I have an iPhone X, an iPad Pro, and an iPad mini. My Mac is running 10.13.6. My iPhone and aIpad Pro have iOS 12.0.1 while the mini had 11.4.1.
This morning I went to sync photos from my Mac with all 3 devices, the first time I have had the iOS devices hooked to the Mac in a couple of months.
The mini worked fine. I opened iTunes, attached the mini, saw the icon in iTunes and synced as usual. However, iTunes does not seem to recognize the Pro or the X. Or rather I can't see how it does. At one point I got a message on the Mac saying iTunes cannot access the iPhone due to password - try again. So it saw something. But when I entered the password on my iPhone I still had the same problem.
