Hi,
I have a friend (and boss) who uses iTunes on her Windows XP machine. She downloaded the latest version. After that she was unable to open iTunes without it giving her an error and then saying "We're sorry for the inconvenience". Well, I figured out how to remidy this, install the stand alone Quick Time Player.
Ok, now iTunes opens... but it won't play any music. The progress bar does not budge. I looked online and some people said that it might be due to an account that has been installed on more than 5 different computers. When I deauthorize it and reauthorize it it says that it is 1 of 5. So that's not it. The files work fine in Windows Media Player and on her iPod Mini.
I am at a total loss on what might be the problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Kevin
