I've just plugged my iPhone into iTunes for the first time in a very long time and it is telling me there is a software update available (9.2.1) and wants me to download and install it, but it is already running 9.2.1

Any ideas what to do?

I think there a updated build # of iOS 9.2.1 thats fixs the 53 error some where getting but that is all nothing else new in that build

It was a re-release of 9.2.1 with a new build number through iTunes only to un-brick iPhones that had error 53.

Not reason to update to it if your phone wasn't bricked.

Thanks for the replies. I've been following the error 53 story, but just never put the two together. Makes sense!

I'll ignore it, 9.3 should be out soon anyway.
