iPod iTunes not recognizing shuffle

since updating to itunes 11.2 my shuffle 2g doesn't show up. i've tried it on two computers. any thoughts? how do i do a restore if it isn't showing up in itunes?
it doesn't show up in devices and it just has a steady flashing orange LED. the battery is fully charged.

Its a bad electrical connection. Its happened to me too.
The biggest source of problems in this or other issues
of connection can be solved with a great product i swear by.
Google Caig labs...they make a spray in different configs
that you spray on a connection and improves the connection
quality...big time.
I use it for HDMI, USB, RCA, speaker terminals etc. Its amazing
stuff and made in Calif.
