iTunes om mini Mac

Hi

i have all my music on an external HDD. Now i bought a mini mac and i would like to have the iTunes lists that i have on my windows conputer to be the same ones i have on the mac.

is it possible for me to just export the windows itunes playlists and then just import them in the mac itunes?

that was my first thought too. Buuuut...i can only find guides of how to copy the music files via itunes to the mini mac..which is something i am not interesting in
