I recently switched to another phone other than the iPhone. My iPhone 5 has a completely shattered screen that seems to faintly light up when the device is powered on. Additionally, the device responds to input from the lock and home buttons (lights up when pressed). When I plug the phone in, it is not recognized by iTunes or the computer at all. The odd part is that I am able to put my phone into DFU mode and iTunes recognizes it as a phone in DFU! Now, I'm trying to recover as much data from my iPhone as I can before I retire it. I've done some research and it seems that you can do ramdisk ssh on A4 models only?? Not sure. If anybody has any advice I would be glad to hear it.
Restoring is out of the question, there is data on the phone that I need. I don't care how technical the solution is, just that there is one.
