iPod iTunes password

I have forgot my iTunes password. My email address was @aol and in 2009 apple merged my 2 apple I'd into one apple I'd (****@aol.com_2)

Nothing I do online will let me reset the password. It's as if the id never existed.

Any ideas????

All I want to do is update some Apps
