Everything was fine with iTunes and Apple Music, up until today. I was, and still am, an iTunes Match subscriber, if it helps. Now my music library (pre Apple Music), but I have zero playlists. Anything added to my library via Apple Music is no longer part of my library. I've signed out of iTunes, restarted, signed back in, rebooted my Mac, no idea what to do next. Suggestions?

Apple Music is a horrible mess. If anyone knows how to downgrade - please share. My meticulously kept large collection of music is a shambles now. What a piece of garbage software. Artists and albums being incorrectly named, as well as wrong covers - and without intervention on my part! If you try to select iTunes Match, the stupid "iCloud Music Library" kicks in and destroys everything. I had to copy and paste my previous iTunes Library .itl file to recover from this fiasco. Note to Tim Cook - please move your focus back from gay rights to Apple products! I'm all for equal rights! But you've lost your damn focus on Apple products!

Whoa nelly, I'd be upset too, but "garbage" is a bit harsh. I got my problem fixed, and it is working fine now. So far, yes, Apple Music has some bugs, but they'll fix them, and the service is fantastic.

I don't understand anything that is going on with this!! I had 4600+ songs in my iTunes library, started iTunes up last night to listen to some music and iTunes had already automatically updated, and I had 71 songs in my library. Luckily I was able to find the files on my computer and drag them all over to add to iTunes.

I see in another forum that if you turn on iCloud music library in iTunes Music your existing play lists may be scrambled. But to turn it off defeats the act of storing a cloud based track to your device.
My play lists are now messed up.

Yeah, my playlists were all deleted off my iOS devices - and on my Mac - if I try to correct the incorrect metadata that Apple Music inserts - it re-randomly changes Artists names and album covers. What a screwed up mess. Apple should have firmly separated iTunes Match from this horror - but I suppose a $25 per year service is bound to be low priority.

Bringing gay rights into this is idiotic and ignorant. You should be ashamed.

Your seeming lack of reading comprehension and purposely misconstruing what I stated is what is idiotic and ignorant - and you should be ashamed.
