I run a late 2014 Mac Mini and am trying to do a clean install of it but can't get iTunes to work. I've moved the Music/iTunes folder from the backed up version but nothing happens when I open the fresh version of iTunes. What have I done wrong or what am I missing?

You have to hold down one of the keys (option or command- I think Option- but the link says Shift key), click iTunes like you want to open it and then select where the moved library is located.

Note: I THINK I recall that the first load can take a little while if you have a big library. So if it doesn't immediately load but looks like it is trying, be patient. After it successfully loads once, it should load just as fast as it normally does.

I've reverted to the old version until next week when I'll have more time to do the full clean install. I'll try what you suggest. What should open up when you hold down the key and click on iTunes in the Dock?

I tried it with my existing iTunes and Options and it opened a Choose Library box which opened into a Finder window showing all the iTunes files. Presumably I click on the iTunes Library.itl file. Thanks for your help.
