Whenever I play a song a small second window opens on top of itunes with the album cover, I can resize it but can't figure out how to get rid of it. Same when playing movies, a little window appears with the movie poster and sits right on top of the movie, can't get rid of it. Any ideas? Thanks

no one knows how to get rid of this? all i've figured out is i can drag it into the bottom corner of the screen so just the last pixel of the corner is showing, making it essentially invisible. but it seems ridiculous that there's no way to just disable the artwork from displaying in a seperate window altogether.

Can you post a screenshot? I've only seen the mini-player pop up and that can be closed. I've got no clue what's going on with your itunes

Think they are referring to the album art pop out the appears when you double click the album art in the player window

Isn't that the Mini Player? I don't know why you can't get rid of it, you should just be able to close it like any other window

Yes
Hover your cursor over it and an X appears at topleft of window.
Click it -> window is gone.
