Anyone else liking iTunes Radio? I've been listening to Chill Out - Electronic, some Classical, and some other iTunes stations.

IMO its a good mix of stuff, heard some new artists, and it sounds great. Using it on a Mac Pro with the HK soundsticks/subwoofer, very clean.

I like the dropdown list it generates so you can see song/artist. The artists have to like it as well -- it's one click away to buy on iTunes, and even if a particular listener doesn't purchase, the artist is getting their name and songs onto the phones/tablets/computers of tons of people.

What's really surprised me is no commercials. If Apple can keep iTunes Radio like this -- good music and minimal commercials -- I'm going to keep using it.

So that's my take.

My wife loves it and since we have iTunes Match, no commercials. She likes it a lot more than Pandora and others also.

It gotten much worse since the public release sadly for two reasons:

1) Everyone has inputted their likes and dislikes which seems to really screw up it's recommendations for me
2) Christmas music just started into rotation which REALLY kills it in October. No, I don't want to hear a Christmas song every. other. song. However, that would generally be okay after Thanksgiving (end of Nov).

Before public release (during the iOS betas) it was really killer and always played music that was spot on, even in sub genres. Try listening to Bossa Nova (Brazilian Jazz) now and you'll get all kinds of other pop garbage.

How is everyones likes and dislikes screw you up? My wife said so far its getting better for stuff she likes and she hasn't heard any Christmas stuff either. She uses it all day at work so its been in use since launch 5 days a week, 7 hours a day.

I'm basing that off of how much more accurate it was before public release. Soon after it started playing Pop in jazz genres, something that definitely doesn't fit. I've created new stations and have the same issues. I'm not the only one of my friends that is hearing Christmas songs either. Most of mine are and the some that I know of are using iTunes Match as well (as am I). Even if I say Never Play this Song as much as I can it always pops another up. Maybe it's my region?
