iTunes Radio station syncing

I'm enjoying iTunes radio and have a question.

The standard stations I have selected when using iTunes on my iMac automatically get synched to my IOS7 devices - neat. But I set up a new custom station on iTunes starting with an artist. This custom station works fine on iTunes but does not appear to sync and appear on my IOS7 devices. Is this normal? Any way to make this happen?

Good question, we don't have iTunes radio in Europe yet but I'd like to know for when we do get it.

are you using the same apple ID for iTunes on your iOS device? I just created a station in iTunes based on an artist in my library and it showed up on my phone when i opened the music app.

Yes, everything is on the same Apple ID.

Last night I tried again with a new different custom station and this one synched immediately to the IOS device - good news. So I deleted the first station that didn't sync and then entered it again and then it did sync correctly. Subsequently I added a couple more custom stations without any problems. No clue why it didn't work the first time, but now I am happy and the issue is resolved to my satisfaction.
