iTunes randomly opens?

ok, so i'm browsing a forum when all of a sudden iTunes opens. i had just checked my widgets, but didn't click anything iTunes related. my ipod's not on the dock, and the dock isn't even plugged into the computer! i'm running osx 10.4.3 and have itunes 6.0.1. anybody know why this is happening? it's done it a few times before, but i wasn't worried then; i am now!

EDIT it was NOT time to update my podcasts.

The iTunes widget has been known to open iTunes of its own accord. Do you have that widget running?
