iTunes Remote app

Can't believe this buggy and long-in-the-tooth UI app hasn't seen a decent update in years. I mean, it does ok the basic tasks but is pretty limited and quite buggy - I don't understand why Apple won't finally redesign it??

Are there any decent alternatives?

No, it is not. ATV Remote is, not iTunes Remote.

But what bugs are you speaking of? It is working ok for me
