I just recently sold my imac g3. I erased the hard drive on it, but I don't remember deauthorizing it for my itunes account. Now I have 2 machines authorized, my new emac, and my old imac. Is there a way to deauthorize my old imac if I don't own it anymore?

How did you erase the HD?
As far as I know, authorization isn't done by machine serial number or anything like that. It's a software thing.

If you did a complete format and reinstall, you should be good, I think.

Once you authorize 5 machines, in the "Your Account" page in the iTunes Music Store, you will get the option to "Deauthorize all machines". You can do this once per year.
