with the news that Apple may allow for streaming iTunes to an iPhone anywhere from your home, i can anticipate more demand for the Mac Mini. I was looking into getting one as a music server to share my home library thru my MacBook remotely thru Hamachi. Now if I can do the same to a portable device, i am SOLD.

I hope this is encouraging news that the Mini is here to stay!

why in the world would you ever want to pay soo much money for an old out of date system to use as....a music server. Are you serious, pc's run itunes for increadibly cheaper, you could make a 500GB media server pc for more than half the price of a mac mini. Don't get me wrong, if you're using this as your home computer....but seeing as your only using it to stream music, I don't see any reason why IT HAS TO BE A MAC.

i'd say your simply wasting your money(alot of money).
