Last night the most f'ed up thing started to happen when i synced my iphone with itunes. After contacts/calendars were updated, i noticed in itunes, it stated it was removing aim, then aol radio, then the next app in alphabetical order.........and I was like wtf!!! I disconnected and reconnected, and it continued to remove applications from my iphone in alphabetical order. After a few reboots of the iphone and computer, same thing.

I was very close to restoring my iphone when on a hunch, i decided to "Reauthorize" my computer, thinking somehow the computer must think the iphone is not authorized to receive these apps from this computer or something. After reauthorizing again, the sync process worked normally, and the apps that were removed earlier were put back onto my iphone.

So, if any of you guys come across this problem, simply reauthorize your computer via itunes. Hopefully this will save you a lot of grief and anxiety, and hours of hair pulling.
