iTunes says my iPhone is damaged! Help!

I upgraded to 1.1.3 with "the official 1.1.3 upgrade" form apptapp and all was great until I went to install the BDS subsystem and I think I hit the home button toward the end and now it is a brick. iTunes says that it may be damaged and won't let me perform a restore. The iPhone has the emergency call only thing going. The weird part is I am still receiving voice mails and I can still make and receive calls. Just no iphone.

Any help, PLEASE!!!

You might need to do an upgrade to 1.1.3 from itunes! Put your phone in dfu mode then sync with itunes. Dont know if you have a unlocked iphone, but if you do, you will not be able to unlock it after you restore to 1.1.3. Also you will need to update your itunes to version 7.6...

omg this happened to me yesterday it propa weird, when i plug my iphone into my pc i can view my pictures but itunes says iphone damaged wtf? even though if i click file sync iphone it does it.

should i take my iphone to the apple shop? even though i jailbreaked it?

yeah don't walk in with a messed up jailbroken phone, they'll laugh at you and tell you to leave

put it in restore mode and blow it away to 1.1.3 and you should be fine.

i finally did it wooo

i had to unbrick it then put it in recovery mode

i have a gd charm them guys at the apple store wulda done it for me lol
