iTunes seems a bit sluggish on a brand new Macbook Pro...

Hey all, I've had my Macbook Pro for about a month now, and it runs smoothly and flawlessly, but of the few gripes I have, this one is a minor but annoying one: iTunes runs very well, except when I put it into Album view--I prefer it this way as it has the list view but the songs are grouped as albums with the artwork on the side. When scrolling or moving the window around it just runs a little sluggishly, a bit too sluggish in my opinion for a computer which otherwise topples other tasks, large and small. Any input?

OS X Leopard
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM (Crucial)
