I have 2 accounts on my computer, mine and my girlfriends. She has her own music set up in itunes and likes to burn cds a lot. However, sometimes she wants to get some tracks from my playlist but can't because of the user accounts. Is there a way I can set it so she can have access? Is it as simple as permissions?

There are several ways you can do it

If you want to just have one master iTues folder, you could make one user folder on a shared area... like under / or something and then make aliases of that folder and put them in inplace of the 2 user iTuns folders ~/username/music/iTunes

If you want to keep the folders seperate, you can do it with permissions or you can set your iTunes preffs so the iTuns folders will be found in a shared area.
