For some reason I can only share my iTunes music between my PCs, but my apple computers can't share music.

basically this is what happens:
PC can share with PC
Mac can't share with PC
Mac can't share with Mac

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Thanks.

Have you made sure you have enabled sharing in iTunes on your Macs? To change this go to iTunes > Preferences > Sharing; Make sure "share my music is checked."

Can you see (and play) shared music from your PC on your Mac?

Yes, I have "Looked for shared music" and "Share my music" both checked. I also have "iTunes Music Sharing" checked under Sharing->Firewall preferences.

I can't see any shared music between my PC and Mac on either sides.

I can only see PC to PC shared music. :(

Is the iTUnes Music Sharing box ticked in system preferences ==>Sharing ==> Firewall as shown in the below screenshot (ignore the other boxes)?

yep, he's said that here ;)
Damn, I missed that :(

I assume you have the latest version of iTunes (6.0.4 currently) on all your computers? Though I believe Sharing should work with all versions down to 4.7

How is your network set up? Are all machines on the same subnet? :)

How do I know if they are on the same subnet?

This is how my network is setup:

One PC is connected with an ethernet cable to a 2wire homeportal which connects to the DSL. Another PC (in a different room) is connected to the network through a home phone network adapter which you plug in a USB port and a phone line. My other two macs are connected (in a different room) with a home phone network adapter also.

Have a look at this thread for some further things to try. The OP never replied saying they had it working so that could be that they did!

Thanks for the link, but still no luck :(
Yes, I actually was able to share music with my macs before. But I had to rearrange my network setup and it stoppped working.

Check the TCP/IP settings. On the Mac, this is in the Network pane of System Preferences. It should show you the Subnet Mask.

I don't have any experience with these home phone network adaptors but have a feeling they may be your limiting factor. Not sure. Hopefully someone with better knowledge and experience can help you out. :)
