iTunes sharing question..

Im not sure I understand what the copy function is for when you are in someone else's library. I can see my wife's library and can play the songs just fine. If I right click or ctrl click on a song in her library there is a copy function but I see no way to paste it anywhere. There are alot of songs that she has ripped from CDs we own and I just want to put them in my library from her iBook instead of having to go and rip them again.

If I go to my library there is no paste function and the one in the manu bar is not active. Anyone got any ideas??

I wish this was implemented but due to copyright laws you can't take music from someone's shared library and put them into yours. The way I do it is to find the song on the network and add it to your library like that. If in the advanced tab, "Copy Files to iTunes Music Library Folder when adding to library" it will put the file on your system.
