For some reason I can't share songs between my Powerbooks purchased music and my iMacs purchased music.... when it asks me to authorize the song, I type in my password but it then says I've already authorized 5 computers which I haven't. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I loaded the songs on my iMac via an external hard drive (could the hard drive be the reason?)

Easiest thing to do is sign in on iTunes, go to your account and reset all your authorisations. Then you'll have to sign in on your PB and iMac again but any inadvertent ones that might have authorised (and you may have forgotten about) will be wiped.

And at the same time, change the password. If passworded stuff happens that you don't remember, it's time to be a little paranoid.
