iTunes starting playback of a track on its own?

Hey,
Is anyone else having an issue where iTunes will just starting playing a song on its own? Am I hacked in some way? I recently updated to 12.7.2.
Thoughts?

If iTunes makes it to frontmost App, hitting space bar will pause and play music.
See the iTunes Controls menu.

Thanks for responding, but this is happening when I'm not even near the computer. No remotes paired or in use. Really odd. Anyway, I was wanting update to HighSierra anyway so I've done that. We'll see if that fixes it.
