I've been burning some CD-Rs for use in my car via the car/walkman adapter that you put into the tape deck. YES, I know it's 2003 and I should consider getting rid of my 1978 technology.

When I burn the CDs, they seem to be fine UNTIL I play them in the car.

Is MP3 or AIFF format best?

Is there a way to ensure that the music is equally dispensed (balanced) through the stereo?

Am I burning the music incorrectly and laying down only the Right track?

It's getting dangerous leaning into the passenger seat to get a true "stereo" experience in the car.

And, yes. I will tell you and anyone who asks, that all this music is from CDs that I own.

Thanks.
