I have an annoying problem related to podcasts through iTunes. At what seems like arbitrary periods of time, iTunes stops downloading some of my podcasts. When I check the podcast listings in iTunes, there is an exclamation point near the top of the window that when clicked on displays this message:

"iTunes has stopped updating this podcast because you have not listened to any episodes recently. Would you like to resume updating this podcast?"

Yes I am listening to these episodes! Why is iTunes telling me that I'm not listening, and why does it care? Sometimes this problem happens immediately after I finish listening to a podcast, as if playing the file causes iTunes to believe that I haven't listened to any episodes.

How do I turn off this stupid feature, so that iTunes never stops downloading my podcasts?
