iTunes store credit question

I'm in the UK, and I currently have £30 of iTunes gift vouchers already loaded on into my iTunes account.

I'm waiting for the TomTom App, and undoubtedly, it'll cost over £30, so I was wondering, when I go to purchase it from the App store from my iPhone, will they deduct my iTunes balance, and then the rest from my bank, or will they see I don't have enough, and deduct it all from my bank, leaving my iTunes balance intact?
