Wasn't sure which forum to put this in, apologies.

It seems like iTunes has taken every single purchase I've made on my account, and added it to my iCloud Music Library again - and when I say adding, I mean force adding everything so now I've got a whole lot of duplicates. When I delete, it doesn't "delete" from my library, it just says hide.

Is there a way to hide everything that's just happened? Or a simple way to undo it, rather than going through and manually checking every album of a 32,000-song library? Lol

Just some added info.

If I've changed the album at all (removed "deluxe" from the title etc) it'll just add it as the same album. If not, it'll just add duplicate songs to the same album.

Example:

Funnily enough, there's actually a lot of the information on the duplicate version I can't edit. Lyrics tab is gone, can't do anything from "composer" down.

And like I said, when I delete, I just get this:

Also, I can't see these on my iPhone, so it appears it hasn't "added" them to the library, it's just SHOWING my purchases in my iTunes library on my Mac.

I guess my concern is, if I find a way to "hide" purchases, is it going to hide EVERYTHING I've purchased, including the originals? Lol. FML.

I had the exact same problem. I noticed that the majority of the additional downloads had the iCloud Status of 'ineligible' so that made it easier to make a smart playlist of them and delete them.

In another Apple Music problem since iOS 13, I have found that some songs down't download now - they were fine a week or so ago, now, the download circle just spins continually. Keeping my fingers this might fix itself in a day or two......
