Has anyone else noticed that TV episodes are disappearing from the iTunes Store? I purchased a copy of Eureka from the current season. The next day the entire current list of episodes was gone. Shortly thereafter prior season episodes could not be downloaded. Now I notice the same with Monk.

Two possible explanations:

1) Writer strike negotiations were hindered by continuing sale of TV episodes.
2) Apple is preparing higher resolution versions of content.

Recalling the same thing happened the last time Apple increased its resolution, I think we may be in store for HD content.

Actually, Eureka is produced by SciFi, which is owned by NBC, who is pulling all content. That's why.

Does anyone actually buy TV shows on iTunes? Come on, seriously...

Yes, of course they do, why wouldn't they? You can watch them anytime and they are very high quality. I have several seasons of Crank Yankers, Reno 911 and Deadliest Catch. I also have all the episodes of Kitchen Nightmares.
