Hello, hope someone can help.

For about two weeks now, I have been unable to get into itunes to download apps. It just tells me the usual thing "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" I have been trying again today, to no avail so I went into setting and signed out of iTunes and then tried signing in again.................how stupid was that! As it won't connect, I can't sign in now.

So, two problems, can't sign in now and when I was signed in, it wouldn't connect.

Anyone got any ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Several suggestions.

Try from a different computer (a friends machine?). It could be a corrupted cookie mucking things up.

If the above works you could try reseting safari and deleting all cookies off your machine. No reason to try this unless the above works.

If the above doesn't work you could email or better yet call Apple and explain your problem. They want your business. It's tough to buy anything from them if you can't access your account.

If you live near an Apple Store you could go in person and get the help instead of phoning.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling ?

IIRC it happened to me once and that sorted it (but I was on a PC)

I am most likely wrong but I think it wouldn't let me into iTunes for a time when I hadn't let it update to the newer version....

Hope you get it sorted!

Thank you for all your replies. Sorry but I didn't make myself clear, this is the app store from my iphone not my computer.

I am going to London on Monday so I will pop into the Apple Store and see if they can help.

Thanks again.
