iPod iTunes Store won't Open

I know its New Music Tuesday but I don't give a flying ****. I want access to the iTunes store. I open iTunes and go to iTunes Store and it immediately says this item is not available in the US.

WHAT THE ****? poor service piece of ****.

This is why I keep telling myself, "If it ain't broke, don't install that patch!" I'm having the same problem with iTunes 9. If I start iTunes or try to use the Home icon, I get the message: "This item is currently not available in the US Store." What item? I asked for the iTunes Store homepage! Maybe Apple outsourced the iTunes Store to Elbonia. Nah, because when I use my old version of iTunes, it works fine. So, before you fall for the advertisement that tells you that you're missing so much stuff by not updating your iTunes version, consider that "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!"

If you think I have an iphone I don't, I was using itunes on my computer and it didn't open last night. IT's working now though.
