Hi, I too have the same problem with my newly purchased iPhone. Before I had synced any music/contacts, I could access iTunes no problem. After I did some syncing, it stopped working! I did a restore but it still doesn't work Any thoughts welcome

At the bottom of iTunes on the iPhone does it show your account "Account:xx", if not, check that iTunes on your PC/Mac is logged in and then try the sync again
When you sync your phone it uses the id currently logged into iTunes
