hi there just looking for a little bit of advice i have had a search but not to much avail. im sure this is a bit of a simple problem but just wanted to check something before i make a big mistake.

i have been syncing my iphone which i have had for a while now with my new macbook pro with no problems and have also been using my itunes to update my dads ipod and my bros news ipod touch but now when i plug in my iphone and click ''manually manage music'' which was already set. it now comes up saying that my iphone is already synced with another itunes account and must be cleared and resynced. if i do this will i lose everything tht has been done since my last sync or what. what shall i do??

thanks

thanks mate but they never really came to a solution the main thing im worried about is apps and contacts being lost and stuff.

i might just do it and take the plunge and see what happens

Well, apps you can get back from the app store (even the ones you bought, without paying again) and contacts you can sync with Address Book for the mac or Outlook or Windows Address book for a pc.

It looks to me that the other solutions provided are for the case of switching computers. You do not seem to be doing that. The only suggestion I can think of is make sure you are logged into iTunes with your account. Could you be logged in to iTunes as your dad or brother since you were managing their iPods? Check that.

Normally iTunes has no problem dealing with multiple devices but you have to be careful if you are using multiple iTunes accounts on the computer.
