iPhone 6(S)/Plus iTunes Synch To Phone Not Working For New MP3 Songs Added Unless I Remove All Songs Then Start Over

Hi. I got some new MP3 songs to add to my iTunes library. When I try to sync to phone, nothing new transfers onto the phone. It seems nothing happens despite the sync process appearing to happen. What's instructed at Apple's "Sync iTunes content on PC with your devices" page isn't working.

I only got it to work by un-clicking "Sync music" and then clicking on Sync at the bottom to remove all songs >>>> and then re-clicking "Sync" music and once again clicking on Sync at the bottom to now add the entire music library with news songs.

This is time consuming to do each time. Aren't new songs and new adjustments to playlists supposed to automatically sync without having to remove everything? Seems like that's how it was before.

Windows, updated iTunes, iPhone 6

Please help. Thank you

Maybe something with iTunes broke. Have you tried to uninstall it and then install it again?

There’s a real chance the iTunes library on your iPhone is broken. You can try to remove it using third party software. It’s a folder on your iPhone called “iTunes_ Control” folder. Do not do full restore to remove it. It’s not worth it.
